A Day in the Life at Our Childcare
A typical toddler's day is thoughtfully designed to balance play, learning, and exploration. Mornings often begin with free play, followed by circle time, table toys, art activities, reading, and a snack to fuel their energy. After lunch, children enjoy quiet or nap time, which is essential for recharging, before transitioning to sensory play, music, and outdoor activities that encourage physical and social development. The day wraps up with more reading and reflection to wind down before pick-up. Throughout the day, teachers gently guide toddlers through routines that promote independence and confidence, creating a supportive environment for growth. As toddlers grow, their schedule evolves to include early math, science, and engaging theme-based projects that nurture curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Toddler Program
Toddlers are learning and growing every day. Our program encourages development through hands-on play with interactive, developmentally appropriate materials. We emphasize Spanish language skills through one-on-one interaction and engaging activities. Your child will enjoy stacking toys, puzzles, push/pull toys, musical instruments, and more. We also focus on teaching self-help, toileting, and social skills to prepare them for preschool success.
Daily Schedule:
7:30–8:30: Arrival/Free Play
8:30–9:00: Snack, Lap Reading, Clean-Up
9:00–9:15: Diaper Changes/Table Toys
9:15–10:00: Circle Time, Library, Outdoor Play
10:30–12:00: Art, Sensory Play, Lunch Prep
12:00–2:00: Rest Time
2:30–5:00: Snack, Outdoor Play, Music, and Art
Infant Program
Our Infant Program provides a nurturing, safe, and secure environment where your baby receives individualized attention. Teachers interact through singing, talking, and playing games like peek-a-boo and pat-a-cake. We focus on social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development with engaging toys and activities tailored to your baby’s needs.
Daily Schedule:
7:30–9:00: Arrival, Play, Morning Snack
9:00–11:30: Diapers, Stories, Music, Nap
11:30–12:00: Lunch
12:30–3:00: Diapers, Nap, Floor Time
3:30–5:00: Snack, Play, Departure
All infants follow individualized schedules based on parent preferences and child needs.
